Here are a few steps you can take to make a difference on climate change:

  • Visit to measure your carbon footprint and pledge to reduce it.
  • Follow the progress of our green building projects. See what we’re doing – and what you can apply in your own home.
  • Sign up for an energy audit at your home to find out how you can be more efficient – many utility companies cover or subsidize the cost, so check with yours first.
  • Make your backyard part of the solution: replace invasive species such as burning bush with natives like high-bush blueberry.
  • Buy local food when possible so that you can avoid shipping impacts, protest fossil-fuel–intensive industrial agriculture, and keep your dollars close to home.
  • Push your local and national politicians to use their power to make smart climate decisions. If they don’t hear from you, they won’t know you care.
