Field Survey Volunteer for “Fresh Eyes” Survey

Location:
Overview:
Responsibilities:

We are seeking field survey volunteers to help us better understand what visitors are experiencing at our reservations statewide.

Volunteers will visit a Trustees reservation that they have never visited before (therefore having “Fresh Eyes”) and complete a survey about what they experience.

This “Fresh Eyes Field Survey” is one of several ways we are assembling information in order to allocate our resources (time, money, equipment) most effectively.

Here's a link to the survey instructions.

Qualifications:

Field survey volunteers should have a general appreciation for the outdoors and/or the landscapes we protect; be capable of moving about a reservation enough to observe entrance areas and get a sense of trails or other main aspects of a reservation; be observant, perceptive, well-organized and candid; pay careful attention to detail.

The survey visit can be made with family and friends as part of exploring a new reservation.

Each field survey must be completed by a volunteer who is visiting the property for the first time.
