We have some interesting opportunities available for interested and willing volunteers! These include:
- Painting and building renovations at Fall River's Wattupa Reservation. Help us to fix up these historic buildings for use as a classroom and maintiance shop.
- Installing a solar powered deer fence and assembling a greenhouse at the Bioreserve Restoration Nursery. Our 400+ Atlantic White Cedars need protection from hungry deer and winter's cold.
- Trail Maintenance and Monitoring. Keep us appraised of trial conditions and use.
- Other volunteer opportunities include: GPS mapping projects, water quality testing, and historical research.
- Bluebird nest box monitoring. Help us to gather data on the Bioreserve's bluebird population at our many volunteer-built nest boxes.
- Vernal Pool Certifications. With little more than a clipboard and a camera you can help us to offically certify some of the hundreds of potential vernal pools in the Bioreserve.
