| Responsibilities: |
Combine your love of the outdoors with volunteering. The Trustees is seeking volunteer caretakers for Little Tom, a property not yet widely open to the public. Property Stewards will walk Little Tom’s trails regularly, talking to visitors and keeping a log of the number of people you meet. You’ll also remove trash, small branches, and other debris from the trails, and report larger concerns to the Windsor Unit Staff. In addition, the Property Stewards report to the staff on a regular basis (at least monthly). You may also be asked to assist with special programs on an infrequent basis. |
| Qualifications: |
Must enjoy walking on the property. You should have knowledge of the ecology and geology of the Connecticut River Valley and be willing to share it with visitors. Be conservation-minded and willing to help maintain the property. |
