| Responsibilities: |
Appleton Farms hosts a variety of seasonal special events annually and we are always looking for regular volunteers to help plan, coordinate and/or run the events. Events include: Owl Moon (January), Maple Sugaring (March), Garlic Harvest (July), Meet the Machines (August), Family Farm Day (September), Strolling of the Dairy Herd and Fall Harvest Dinner (October), The Farm Nisse (December), and Meet the Cows (monthly). Event volunteers will work alongside farm staff and can pick and choose events and support roles (big or small!). Common special event roles may include: welcoming the public, assisting with refreshments, helping with activities, pre-event logistics, helping with public relations and marketing. | Qualifications: |
An interest and enthusiasm for agriculture, the environment and/or cultural history. A passion for The Trustees of Reservations mission. Excellent communication skills and a desire to work with the public (all ages). A willingness to pitch in where needed. An expectation to work alongside great people and to have fun! |

Ideally we are looking for volunteers who are willing to help out on at least 4 events per year. Time commitments may vary based on your interests and desired level on involvement. |
