Flower Fields Garden Volunteer

Location:
 Long Hill
Responsibilities:

Assist in the planting and maintenance of the new pick-your-own Flower Field at Long Hill.  Help The Trustees Horticulture Educator to plant, weed, water, and sell over 20 varieties of organically grown cut flowers and herbs. Assist customers during PYO times, prepare bouquets for Beverly nursing homes, and work alongside other volunteers.   

  

Preferred Skills &
Abilities:
  • Work independently and in small groups.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, pruners, and light lifting.
  • Communicate with the public and feel comfortable educating about organic growing methods used in the fields.
Time Commitment:
 May - October, flexible hours.
