Cape Ann Island Stewards

Misery Islands
Responsibilities:
Combine your love of the outdoors with this great volunteer opportunity. Trail stewards hike on a our island properties (Misery Island and Crowninshield Island) on a regular basis, clearing small branches, sticks, and litter. We ask that you report any fallen trees, large trash items, or issues needing attention to superintendent.

Trail stewards also greet visitors and answer questions.

Preferred Skills &
Abilities:
You should be physically able to hike our properties and enjoy working with people. You must have your own boat to access Misery Island. You can access Crowninshield at low tide
Time Commitment:
Year-round. Weekly, at least 3 times per month.
