Hingham Farmer’s Markets Assistant

Set up an attractive table display to sell produce, herbs, flowers, and eggs. Weigh and accurately charge customers for available goods. Maintain accurate sales records. Educate the public about Weir River Farm, the mission of The Trustees of Reservations and garner support for future expansion of agricultural goods in our community. Take orders for meat products to be picked up at Weir River Farm. Clean up area before leaving the Farmer’s Market.

We would love to have you join us if you need to fulfill a Community Service commitment.

• Work independently and in small groups
• Lift boxes of produce
• Basic math skills
• The ability to deal pleasantly with the public are required.
• An interest in organic methods and a passion for local food issues is helpful but not necessary.
