Overview:
Responsibilities:

Provide house tours to visitors and school groups, answer the phones respond to inquiries, execute ticket sale transactions, work in the home’s specialty book and gift shop, and sell Trustees of Reservations’ memberships.

Qualifications:

A background in history and literature is preferred, though training in the history of the house will be provided.

Opportunities to develop programs, create thematic tours, and engage in research are also available, and this experience can be tailored to your passions!

Time Commitment:
Hours will be based on your availability but will mostly be during the day Monday-Friday, April 18 through October 31, with occasional weekends and evenings. Old Manse volunteers receive a discount at the Manse’s specialty bookstore.
