GPS/Geocaching Intern - Holyoke

Location:
Responsibilities:
Help The Trustees interface with the geocaching community by locating geocaches on our properties, contacting cache owners, developing trustees cache trinkets and distributing them, designing earth caches, etc.

Work with Superintendent to explore the potential for geocache-related member and visitor outreach and the potential to bring people to enjoy our properties and inspire and motivate them to act for conservation.

Preferred Skills &
Abilities:
Must have an interest and some experience in ecology, history, biology, or other appropriate and related discipline.
  • Experienced geocacher desirable.
  • Must be comfortable taking on a project and working on it independently.
  • Technology-savvy applicants preferred.
  • Bilingual speakers (English/Spanish) are preferred, not required.
  • Transportation to begin work in downtown Holyoke and to go out in to the field independently required. 
     
Time Commitment:
Weekend and weekday opportunities. Time commitment is flexible.
