Celebrate fall and join in the 6th Annual Tully Lake Triathlon on Saturday, October 13!
UPDATE: We have reached our maximum number of participants and registration is now closed for the 2012 race. Come out this year to enjoy the food, music, kids activities – and of course to watch the race! And add us to your 2013 race calendar.
The Race:
Join us for what has now become an autumn North Quabbin tradition. Our 17-mile paddle/run/bike triathlon is designed to showcase all the best this region has to offer. Awards will be given to the top finishers in each of the following categories: Individual–Women, Individual–Men, Team–Two Person, Team–Three Person, and Team–Four Person.
Camping:
Stay with us and enjoy the last weekend of camping for the season. The campground opens Friday afternoon at 2PM and remains open until Sunday at 4PM. Reservations are required; race participants get 20% discount. For more information or to make a reservation, call 978.249.4957.

Individual: $35; Two-Person Team: $55; Three-Person Team: $80; Four-Person Team: $105.

Individual: $45; Two-Person Team: $65; Three-Person Team: $95; Four-Person Team: $125.

The Course:
- The 5-mile paddle starts from Tully Lake Campground, proceeds up the Tully River (flat water) to the north end of Long Pond, and returns to the starting point for the transition to the run.
- The 4.5-mile run follows a dirt trail around Tully Lake. Its course is moderate except for one short steep hill on Doane Hill Road.
- The 7.5-mile bike leg will loop the Tully Lake Mountain Bike Trail, a moderately difficult mix of fire roads and single track.
Food & Activities:
Food vendors will be available, and a free concert will start around 12Noon until the awards ceremony at 2:30PM. Local outdoor equipment vendors will be on hand for last-minute items.

Are you looking to increase your time this year, but not ready to buy a racing boat?
Contact Charles River Recreation at 617-965-5110 and ask for Mark, or send an e-mail to contact@paddleboston.com to rent a boat for the day. Let them know it’s for the Tully Lake Triathlon, and If they get enough interest they may be able to drive a trailer of boats out the day of the race. Rental rates are very reasonable.
