Before & After Care
For those exhausted parents who rise with the sun and eat with the moon, we are glad to provide before and after care. Our staff is available to accept your child as early as 8AM and as late as 5PM. You must register in advance for this service. The cost per week is $30 for morning care, $30 for afternoon care, or $50 for both.
Transportation
Each week we provide van transportation to and from select communities on the North Shore. A limited number of seats are available on a first come, first served basis. To register for the van, please contact the camp office. The cost per week is $30 for the morning route, $30 for the afternoon route, or $50 for both. The transportation fee is waived for scholarship recipients. A detailed schedule is available here or by request. You must register in advance for this service. Transportation is not available for the Periwinkles and Educator in Training programs.
Financial Assistance
The Trustees of Reservations are committed to providing environmental experiences for youth regardless of family income. To obtain a scholarship application, please click here or contact the camp office. Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis and are made possible with generous contributions by The Crane Fund for Widows & Children, New England Biolabs, and individual donors.
Membership
The Trustees of Reservations is a member-supported, nonprofit organization. Our Family Members receive a discount on camp programs. If you are not already a member, you can choose to become one when you register for camp. As a new member, you will automatically receive the member discount.
Discounts
In these tough economic times, we are working hard to keep our prices affordable. When you enroll two or more siblings at SummerQuest, you will receive a 5% family discount on each child. When you enroll your child in more than one session of SummerQuest, you will receive a 10% multi-session discount, which we will apply to each additional session.
Licensing & Accreditation
SummerQuest complies with all regulations imposed by the MA Department of Public Health. It is licensed by the Ipswich Board of Health. SummerQuest employs experienced lifeguards to supervise all swimming and boating activities. Parents have the right to request and review the following policies: background check, health care, discipline policies and grievance procedures.
Buddy Requests
We pride ourselves on turning strangers into friends, but sometimes you still need a buddy. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to place your child with another camper. We will honor one request per camper when possible, based on age and maturity level.
Cancellation Policy
Things come up. Life happens. Under most circumstances, we are happy to refund your total less the deposit. However, we are not able to refund cancellations made within two weeks of the start of the session. Once a session has begun, we do not offer rebates for partial or incomplete attendance.
Car Pool
We are committed to promoting sustainable practices. We are also committed to saving you money at the gas pump. If you would like to join our car pool list, please make sure to check the box when you register. Prior to the start of each session, we will send you the names, addresses and contact information of other interested parents.
