If you have questions or concerns about the process, please get in touch with us directly. Actually, that goes for pretty much anything: we’re here to help! Our contact information is on the right.
In these tough economic times, we are working hard to keep our prices affordable. When you enroll two or more siblings at SummerQuest, you will receive a $10 family discount. When you enroll your child in more than one session of SummerQuest, you will receive a $10 multi-session discount, which will apply to each additional session.
Things come up. Life happens. Under most circumstances, we’re happy to refund your total less the deposit. However, we are not able to refund cancellations made two weeks or fewer prior to the start date of a session. Once a session has begun, we do not offer rebates for partial or incomplete attendance.
The Trustees is committed to providing environmental experiences for youth regardless of family income. To obtain a scholarship application, please visit our website or contact the camp office. Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis and are made possible with generous contributions by Crane Co., New England Biolabs, and individual donors.
The Trustees is a member-supported, nonprofit organization. Our Family Members receive a significant discount on camp programs. If you are not already a member, you can choose to become one when you register for camp. As a new member, you’ll automatically receive the member discount.
We pride ourselves on turning strangers into friends, but sometimes you still need a buddy. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to place your child with another camper. We will honor one request per camper when possible, based on age and maturity level.
For those parents who need to get to work before the 9AM camp start time, we are happy to provide before care. Our staff is available to accept your child as early as 8AM. You must register in advance for this service; the cost per week is $45. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate campers before 8AM or after 4PM.
What to Bring
The SummerQuest experience offers unique opportunities for learning and adventure in the great outdoors. We want your child to be prepared – but not over-burdened! Please remember to send your camper with an easy-to-carry backpack, a water bottle (we have refilling stations), sunscreen, bug repellent, two snacks, lunch (for Questers and Stewards groups; we do not have refrigeration or heating capabilities), a bathing suit and a towel. There are bins for storing extra clothing, foul weather gear, or anything else you’d like your child to bring. Please check the Parent Handbook for suggestions and restrictions.
Licensing & Accreditation
SummerQuest complies with all regulations imposed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. It is licensed by the Ipswich Board of Health. SummerQuest employs experienced lifeguards to supervise all swimming and boating activities. Parents have the right to request and review the following policies: background check, health care, discipline policies and grievance procedures.
Carry In/Carry Out Policy
SummerQuest follows a carry in/carry out policy. All trash such as wrappers and bags, and uneaten food will return home in your child’s lunch box. Please consider using reusable containers to reduce waste.
