"What better place than The Crane Estate to bring out our kids' adventurous spirits and lay down some lasting impressions of what it means to be happy? Every day the kids spend with you is like gold to them." – Heidi Goodwin, Camper Mother

Each week, our campers embark on a quest to understand the world around them – and, in turn, learn a little more about themselves. Every day is an adventure, an exploration, an expedition. Campers and staff alike are encouraged to think of themselves as characters in an unfolding drama. The power of sharing the same story makes for a richer (and more memorable) experience for all. And while quests are ultimately about having fun, our dedication to place-based, experiential learning is there too, hiding in plain sight.
We are fortunate to have one of the most spectacular properties in the country to call home. The 2,000-acre Crane Estate includes an iconic mansion perched atop a hill overlooking the sea; a sprawling farm complex bounded by old hay meadows and abandoned orchards; rolling lawns and well kept gardens; miles of white sand beaches and wind-sculpted dunes; and several uninhabited islands bordered by hundreds of acres of salt marsh. It’s a child’s dreamscape, and the perfect outdoor classroom!
However, a camp is only as good as the people who lead it. Our staff – top-notch, experienced educators – reflects the high standards we set for SummerQuest. They are compassionate role models and natural mentors. Children are celebrated as individuals, each with something unique to contribute to the SummerQuest community. No matter what quest you choose, we have a program for you – informed by an educated understanding of how children at different developmental stages learn best.
Our goal is to offer your child an exceptional camp experience. So join us this summer! The quest is just beginning...
