Welcome to the Ride for Green fundraising page! Your fundraising efforts are greatly appreciated and will go a long way to help make Massachusetts green. One hundred percent of every dollar you raise as a rider will go directly to support The Trustees of Reservations efforts to protect the vital landscapes and landmarks across Massachusetts, for everyone, forever.
All Ride for Green cyclists are required to raise a minimum of $400. The fundraising deadline is October 1, 2010. Riders who raise more than $1,500 for The Trustees will achieve ‘Green Jersey’ status, and in addition to receiving special recognition in The Trustees’ annual report, ‘Green Jersey’ riders will receive limited edition Trustees garb (such as a fleece, blanket, or shirt) as a token of our appreciation for their efforts.
Win a Harpoon Brewery to Brewery (B2B) Ride Spot! The three individual Ride for Green riders who raise the most money by August 28, 2010, will win a spot in the 2011 B2B Ride. The winners of these spots will be announced at the post-ride BBQ on August 28th. Winners must be present to claim their spot, otherwise the spot will be awarded to the next highest individual fundraiser. The B2B Ride is a highly coveted and challenging 148-mile, one day, point to point ride from the Harpoon Brewery in Boston, MA, to the Harpoon Brewery in Windsor, VT.
