Worlds End Works

We've got tons more fun events and programs in your area – sign up for our monthly enews here!

World’s End is a fascinating property to explore, with its miles of old cart roads and woodland paths, this coastal reservation affords any visitor an endless opportunity to discover the intricacies of a cultural landscape. As one can imagine, this 251 acre reservation requires an incredible amount of careful maintenance and stewardship to preserve its unique appearance. The cart roads, trees, fields, woodlands and stonewalls are all routinely monitored and maintained to both provide a great visitor experience, as well as to establish priority ecological habitats for wildlife. This is a delicate balance, but our Stewardship Staff is up to task!

Join us once a month for Worlds End Works, a guided walk led by our stewardship team, where you can learn about seasonal maintenance efforts, wildlife priority habitat preservation, and cultural landscape conservation. This is also a great time to learn about on-going volunteer opportunities, where you can gain a ‘hands-on’ appreciation for all the effort required to keep World’s End a special place!
