The Phil at World’s End: Seasons & Solitude Under the Stars

Pack your blankets, chairs and picnics and immerse yourself in an evening of enchanting music, sweeping views and ocean breezes! The Trustees and the Plymouth Philharmonic are excitedly announce a partnership summer concert this August 24th atop Planter's Hill at World's End from 7-9pm.

The Plymouth Philharmonic has connected South Shore communities through music for 104 years. The Trustees and the Plymouth Philharmonic look forward to celebrating summer with an outdoor concert atop World’s End in Hingham. Steven Karidoyanes conducts a program that celebrates the beauty and simple pleasures of music and nature with Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, Mozart’s A Little Night Music, Puccini’s The Chrysanthemums, and JS Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3. Acclaimed violinist, Irina Muresanu, whose performances have been frequently cited as among the Best of Classical Music Performances by the Boston Globe, joins the Phil for this special evening.

Please note: Parking for this event will be located at Nantasket Junction MBTA parking lot and we encourage use of the Greenbush Commuter Rail. A complimentary shuttle service will be provided to bring all guests to Planter's Hill. Preferred parking tickets for the World's End parking lot are SOLD OUT; preferred parking tickets were only available online when purchasing event tickets. Parking is expressly prohibited outside of the property's parking facilities and vehicles parked along Martin's Lane or other neighborhood streets shall be subject to ticketing and towing at the owner's expense. The Trustees reserves the right to check any bags/personal belongings brought onto the property by guests of the event.

Handicap parking info: A handicap accessible shuttle will be provided at the World's End parking lot only. Event ticket holders with handicap plates/tags should proceed to World's End NOT Nantasket Junctiton (no additional fee/preferred parking ticket required for those utilizing handicap parking spots).
