Learn the story of Bryant’s upbringing at this beautiful hilltown home and his career in New York City as editor of the New-York Evening Post. Experience the incredible landscape that inspired Bryant to retun in 1865 and spend his summers in Cummington. Guides lead visitors through the historic house, highlighting the unique objects that once belonged to William Cullen Bryant and his family, while telling stories of this remarkable man and his important contributions to American poetry, politics and conservation. Tour lasts approximtely 45 minutes and includes walking up a flight of stairs.
