Have you ever eaten a Juneberry? The ripe fruits taste like a cross between cherries and almonds, and are equally edible by animals and people alike, quite an incentive to plant this native New England species in your home landscape.

If that sparks your interest, join Russ Cohen, expert forager and author of "Wild Plants I Have Known...and Eaten," for a 90-minute workshop on native edible wild plants suitable for use in landscaping...or for nibbling in the wild. Keys to the identification of each species will be provided, along with guidelines for safe and environmentally responsible foraging.

Stick around to sample foraged goodies made from edible native species!
