This 3-week series introduces children aged 3-6 and thier guardians to nature in a safe and beautiful setting - the Crane Estate!
Each Thursday we will explore a new topic in a different area of the estate with fun outdoor adventures, hands-on activities, crafts, games, songs, and stories. Our goal is to get families outside together in all seasons, to introduce children to nature and to spark a lifelong interest in the natural world.
Registration covers one child and an adult guardian for the full 3-week session (February 6, 13, and 27). Please note that this program does not meet on February 20, which falls in a school break week. Younger siblings are welcome to join. If they are walking, they'll likely be joining the activity so the additional sibling fee applies. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Each session is 1 hour long. We will meet at the great house where we can use bathrooms and circle up inside before heading out on an adventure! Please make sure that all children have appropriate clothing for playing outside (snow pants, boots, hat, gloves, waterproof coat) each week.
Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Contact Education Manager Victoria Sindorf with any questions at email@example.com If you have a group of over 6 children, contact us about private preschool explorer sessions!
