Take a few hours out of your busy life to commune with nature and re-center yourself by joining us for an evening of mediation and motion on Castle Hill at the Crane Estate.
Begin the evening watching the sun set over the marsh and learn from Lisa Lanteigne, a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, about using meditation and breathing to create more peace and happiness in your life. Practice this peace and meditation on a silent walk under the stars through the trails of Castle Hill, down to the ocean. At the end of the hike we'll return to the barn to reflect and relax with a 20 minute meditation.
Please bring a flashlight and a blanket or yoga mat to lie on during the meditation. Dress in layers to stay comfortable and wear sturdy shoes. This hike is recommended for anyone age 14 and up.
About your instructor:
Lisa Lanteigne is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She firmly believes in the mind-body connection, and that if people learn to train or strengthen their mind, that it will improve their health and increase levels of well-being and happiness. Lisa's goal is to make people more aware of the power they have within themselves, and provide them the tools they need to create a more happy and healthy life.
Weather cancellation policy: All trips will take place rain or shine with the following exceptions: If there is a high confidence that thunder and lightning will be present, we may cancel a trip up to one hour in advance. If the forecast is for steady and heavy rain all day, we may decide to cancel by 3pm on the day before the event. If either of these happens, all registrants will be notified by email and/or phone with as much notice as possible.
