Thursday nights this summer, Castle Hill on the Crane Estate in Ipswich is the place to be for good food, good friends, and great music. Pack a picnic, bring the kids, and get ready to dance the night away under the stars on the Grand Allée. Every week is a different style of music!
Explore the newly restored landscaped lawn and try the family Eye Spy featuring statuary and architecture. Don’t miss the weekly raffle and membership promotion. Let our lawn be your summertime playground.

In response to the overwhelming popularity of the Summer Picnic Concert Series, The Trustees will once again limit the number of concert attendees to 2,000 people. Concert attendees are encouraged to arrive early to insure admission.
Until concert capacity is reached, parents may drop off middle school and high school students at the designated “walk-in” gate. A gate attendant will be equipped to admit walk-ins and collect the $5 admission fee. At the conclusion of the concert, parents should enter through this same gate and park at the barn complex to await their children.
The Trustees are pleased to announce that a section of the picnic lawn will be reserved for handicapped patrons.
The Great House is closed to the public during concerts. However, the Casino Complex, partway down the Allée and the focus of the final phase of our Allée Restoration Project, will be open with an exhibit open for viewing until after intermission (approximately 8PM every concert).
Visitors may bring their own picnic blankets, chairs, tables, and suppers, but tents are not permitted.
For the safety of all our visitors, please no grills, open flames, or candles.
Please leave your furry friends at home. |
