This ‘back-to-basics’ series provides a comprehensive approach to the fundamentals of cooking to enhance your knowledge, skill, and understanding in the kitchen. This hands-on workshop will focus on everything from proper knife skills, executing cooking methods, basics of sauces & proper seasoning as we prepare plenty of ‘practice’ recipes to savor at the end of class. We'll also do some kitchen troubleshooting, exploring common kitchen mishaps, how to avoid these pitfalls and learn simple fixes for overcoming potential culinary disasters! Recipes to be determined. Workshop includes chef instruction, printed recipes, and a light lunch in the farmhouse.
