Herbal Gifts Workshop

Looking for more cool stuff to do?
We've got tons more fun events and programs in your area – sign up for our monthly enews here!

Whether you're getting started on your holiday gift giving and are looking for something creative to give or you're just looking to make something for yourself during a relaxing afternoon out, there are so many wonderful ways to use herbs and essential oils to create natural and unique products to nourish your mind and body. Join practicing herbalist and botanical educator, Steph Zabel in the greenhouse at the Stevens-Coolidge Place to learn how to make infused oils, herbal salves, aromatherapy sprays and elderberry syrup, which all make for delightful and practical gifts for friends and family. With a masters' degree in ethnobotany, Steph teaches people about herbalism--the art and science of plant medicine--so that they can live a more vibrant, healthy and connected life.

You will receive an informative handout, including some of Steph’s favorite holiday herbal recipes and resources for quality herbal ingredients, bottles and supplies. You will also leave the program with some herbs harvested from the Stevens-Coolidge Place's very own French Garden, to help you get started on your own crafting at home!

Please note that space is limited. Pre-registration is recommended.
