The 1920s roar again for a fabulous weekend of jazz, swing dance, antique automobiles, vintage clothes, house tours, lawn games, and more! Come Saturday or Sunday or make it a weekend and come both days! Tickets available below.

Throughout the weekend you’ll find swing dance and Charleston lessons; special performances by Boston Lindy Bomb Squad, Boston Lindy Hop, Eight Thirty ACT, and The Riff; and amazing New York and New Orleans jazz bands performing on two stages.

On Saturday, you’ll see Tamar Korn and A Kornucopia on the main stage and Cassidy and the Orleans Kids on the Casino stage.

On Sunday, you’ll see Baby Soda Jazz Band with Tamar Korn on the main stage and Cassidy and the Orleans Kids on the Casino stage.

New for 2017—Guided tours of our 1920s mansion! It’s 1929 and you are a guest of the Crane family! Let a footman or maid show you around the Crane’s Great House during a 30-minute first-person tour. Tours are scheduled on the half-hour from 2 pm – 7 pm (last tour begins at 6:30 pm). Sign up for a tour time at the front door. Maximum 12 people per tour. Cost is $10/person or $5/person for Trustees members. Please arrive 10 minutes before your tour time as we are unable to add you once the tour begins. 


Bring your own picnic supper, pre-order one from Ferreira Foods, or visit one of our on-site vendors.

The gates will open at 1pm. Parking is on-site for $10/car. Parking passes are available only in advance.

Lawn chairs and picnic blankets are encouraged.

Please leave pets, grills, open flames, drones, alcohol, and tents at home.


The Roaring Twenties Lawn Party is rain or shine. Tickets are available only in advance and will be mailed to the purchaser. Tickets ordered by July 31 will be mailed. Tickets ordered August 1-4 will be held at the box office for pick up Saturday/Sunday.

The Roaring Twenties Lawn Party is co-sponsored by Boston Swing Central, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the Lindy Hop and related swing dances. They run a dance with lesson every Friday night in Cambridge. You can find out more at www.bostonswingcentral.org.
