Celebrating the winter solstice goes back 5,000 years and has deep agricultural roots. Join us as we light up the night with a family-friendly Solstice stroll and celebration at the farm.
Adults and children are invited to bring upcycled tin cans and join us for a lantern craft starting at 3pm (we'll provide instruction and the additional lantern-making materials).
At dusk we'll embark upon a guided candlelit walk along the trails that will include presented passages from the story "The Shortest Day" by Wendy Pfeffer.
After hiking the trails we'll gather back in the orchard to warm up by a campfire and enjoy hot chocolate, hot cider, cookies, and s'mores, as we welcome the new season under the stars.
