Saving seeds from your favorite garden veggies, herbs, and flowers is a great way to save money and see the whole life cycle of your plants. This hands-on workshop will focus on saving seeds from self-pollinating crops like peas, lettuce, tomatoes, and several herbs and flowers, but we can answer questions about saving seeds from more complicated cross-pollinating plants if there's interest.
Preregistration helps us plan and get in touch if anything changes. You can also check the Facebook event for weather and other updates.
Woolson Community Garden is located at 44 Woolson Street, close to the intersection of Morton St. and Blue Hill Ave, and is accessible by the Fairmount Line of the commuter rail and several buslines. Street parking is generally available nearby.
