Join us for the fourth workshop in our hands-on Urban Orchard Stewardship series! After all of your hard work, there is nothing like enjoying the fruits of your labor. In this hands-on class, we will cover harvesting tools, techniques, and processes. We will also talk about the ecosystem that makes this bounty of fruit possible and how to attract more beneficial life and pollinators into your orchard. Interested in how companion plants can reduce pests? This class might be for you!
This is the fourth installment in a hands-on 5-month workshop series that will teach you to steward your fruit and nut trees all year round. All programs will take place at Southwest Corridor Community Farm on Saturdays from 10AM - 12:30PM. Join us for one program, a few, or all five. Advance registration is recommended but not required. To register for the full series and receive a discount, contact email@example.com.
Southwest Corridor Community Farm is a short walk from the Jackson Square T stop and street parking is often available on Lamartine. Please check the Facebook event for weather and other updates, particularly if you are not registered.
