Join us in The KITCHEN for special February Vacation Week cooking class with Red Apple Farm on Thursday, February 21st for kids ages 6-12 to learn about local food and the journey it makes from the farm to the table. In this hands-on class, kids explore and taste the seasonal bounty of the region through the local vendors of the Boston Public Market.
Menu & Activity - Make caramel apples with Emily from Red Apple Farm! Learn how to make caramel from scratch, dip your apple and decorate with different toppings! Emily will also discuss the different apple varieties available in Massachusetts and provide samples of each kind.
This class is offered at two times: 10:00-11:00 am or 12:00-1:00 pm. Please sign up in advance to ensure your spot.
Parents: You are welcome to stay and watch the activity during the class. If you would like to leave your kids in the KITCHEN without you, please do not leave the Boston Public Market, and please plan to pick them up promptly after the 1-hour class has concluded.
