This new two- hour class that includes a talk on uses of the herb of the day (one which is grown by Muddy River Herbals at the Bradley Estate), sampling of herbal tea, and a 20 minute meditation. The class will include indoor and outdoor activities so dress for the weather! Herbal teas will be chosen among Calendula, Lemon Balm, Lavender, and Chamomile. Each can be taken internally and safely as a tea. Each can also be used externally or aromatically -- herbs that will draw you in, as attractive plants to have in an herb garden or flower bed. This program will be led by Mallory Cole, a Gaia School of Healing Certified Herbalist, and a professional gardener for Howard Garden Designs in Newton, and I have worked for several Massachusetts farms as a cut flower grower.
