Outstanding in the Field is a roving culinary adventure – literally a restaurant without walls.
Their mission is to re-connect diners to the land and the origins of their food, and to honor the local farmers and food artisans who cultivate it.
Wherever the location, the theme of each dinner is to honor the people whose good work brings nourishment to the table.
This dinner will be featuring Chef Josh Lewin of Juliet (Somerville, MA) - recognized by Bon Appétit magazine in 2016 as one of the Best 50 New Restaurants in the U.S. - joins us in the field kitchen. Juliet is the first brick-and-mortar home for Bread & Salt Hospitality. Before striking out on his own, Chef Josh worked with a truly impressive list of chefs in top restaurants from Boston (Craigie on Main) to Chicago (Charlie Trotter’s) to NYC (Momofuku Noodle Bar). We are looking forward to seeing what he comes up with at Powisset Farm.
