Have you always wanted to learn how to set up a successful garden of vegetables and fruit plants? Perhaps you dream of being able to harvest and prepare meals with vegetables that you grew safely and might even aspire to sell excess product? The Bradley Estate wants you! This season, we are setting up a garden volunteers corps overseen by seasonal and full-time staff who will train and work with members of the volunteer corps to develop skills in preparing the soil, planting, caring for, and harvesting a functioning kitchen garden that eventually produce items for sale at the property's revitalized farm stand. Benefits include both training and hands-on experience in gardening and farming that can translate to home gardens, and access to freshly grown produce throughout the growing season. In addition, volunteers may become involved in tours of visitors, and training of the next generation of volunteers/gardeners. If interested, please contact email@example.com. Minimum qualifications, time commitments, physical requirements, and more detailed project description will be provided.
