Snowy Owls are frequent visitors to Cape Poge Wildlife Refuge and Norton Point Beach. Join us on an over sand adventure along the barrier beach in search of these magnificent birds. Unlike most owls, snowy owls are diurnal—they hunt and are active both day and night – so we have a good chance of sighting one even in the daylight hours!
Please note: We will be outdoors for approximately 2 hours, and there will be times we will get out of the vehicle to hike on the beach. Please dress appropriately for the weather, and walking on the sand.
We will end our adventure with some hot beverges and tasty treats!
Pre-registration required. If it is indicated as full on the website, please email Rebecca at firstname.lastname@example.org to place yourself on the waitlist.
