The Trustees joins with local health provider, Community Health Programs (CHP), this spring at Naumkeag to offer families with young children an opportunity to get outside and explore the wonders of nature at this amazing property. Participants meet at the lower parking lot on the property where we will then depart to a different part of the property each week. Children and adults can expect to get wet and dirty during this program where the children will guide us in discovery. Small snacks of almonds and dried fruit are provided by the local coop and participants are welcome to bring their own snacks. Everyone should consider having a hat and water with them. This program is very popular so requires pre-registration by emailing or calling the week before and is best for 2.5 and up. This program requires walking and is not friendly to strollers.
