Nature Journaling

Looking for more cool stuff to do?
We've got tons more fun events and programs in your area – sign up for our monthly enews here!

Learn how to keep track of your observations of nature in free-flowing, beautiful sketches. Local artist Karen Dolmanisth will present options and inspirations for keeping a nature journal - even in winter! If it's too cold to draw outside, we will use rare books from the Bart's Cobble library, as well as examine the taxidermy collection for life-sized models. Bring some of your favorite pens and pencils and an unlined journal or sketchbook. This workshop is appropriate for those who are passionate about art and nature and able to stay focused for three hours.
