Walk Your Green Dog  Arrow

TTOR

To help ensure that our visitors’ experience is a quality one, we ask that our Green Dogs permit holders obey these Dog Walking Regulations:

  • Only dogs and dog walkers registered in the Green Dogs program may go walking at Green Dogs reservations.

  • Dog walkers must prominently display their annual permit badge when they are walking their dogs. Crane Beach Green Dogs day pass holders must have the day pass in their possession on the beach.

  • Dog owners must be able to show an up-to-date rabies tag for their pet(s).

  • Dog walkers must have their dogs under control at all times and must not be allowed to approach other visitors unless invited to do so.

  • One person may walk no more than two dogs, and the walker must have a separate leash for each dog.

  • Do not allow your dog to chase, hunt, or harass people, wildlife, other dogs, or horses.

  • Dog walkers must pick up and dispose of their dogs’ wastes.

  • Trustees staff will monitor compliance with the Green Dogs regulations, and permits may be canceled for permit holders who are not in compliance or whose Trustees membership is lapsed.

  • Download reservation-specific Green Dogs regulations before your visit.

Membership dues collected through the Green Dogs program go directly to underwrite the costs associated with managing this creative dog-friendly program.
