Jamie Barrett (far right) is the CSA manager at Appleton Farms, and is responsible for all aspects of the operation. Jamie, a former Apprentice, got his start right here at Appleton Farms and is committed to the future of CSA at Appleton.
The seasonal farm crew is made up of three to five full-season apprentices, as well as part-time farmhands and shop keepers.
Wayne Castonguay is the Property Manager of Appleton Farms, and is one of those responsible for bringing the idea of Community Supported Agriculture here.
Maura Mastrogiovanni manages the farm office. She maintains the CSA database and is integral to shareholder communication.
Volunteers participate in many aspects of the CSA - from editing the weekly newsletter, to organizing potlucks, to helping with fieldwork and distributions. Please contact the farmers if you'd like to be involved!
A broad group of additional Trustees of Reservations staff manage other aspects of Appleton Farms, including superintendent and field crews, a livestock crew, educational and interpretive staff and volunteer committee members.
