Art for Lunch: Paint Glazing Workshop

Come have lunch with us at the Crane Estate while enjoying an artful talk or workshop in Castle Hill’s Italian-style “casino” buildings. Bring a lunch; lemonade and cookies provided. Members: FREE. Nonmembers: $5. Roll up your sleeves for a lesson in creative paint finishes and a hands-on attempt to achieve the “antiqued” looks the Cranes created in the Great House. Ipswich artist Will Cady Perkins will describe and demonstrate the techniques he has used for clients nationwide and for us at Castle Hill.

Join us for a special evening of delicious food and great company -- all for a great cause -- with Chef Barbara Lynch and friends. We'll dine family-style on the Grand Allee as we sample dishes prepared by some of Boston's most well-known chefs, all made from the best, freshest, local ingredients: farm-fresh produce from The Trustees' Appleton Farms, clams from Ipswich Bay, and lobster from Gloucester.
