Responsibilities

The Garden Greeter plays a key role in welcoming visitors to the Mission House. You greet visitors as they arrive and talk to them about the history of the Mission House and the Mohican Indians. You’ll also provide support for the guide on duty and make visitors feel welcome while they wait for the next tour to begin.


Required Skills & Abilities

This is a great position for a people person.  Knowledge of garrdens is helpful, but not required. We will provide training on the history of the house and gardens and about The Trustees. You will be supervised on-site by Barbara Dowling, Historic Site Administrator, or the guide on duty.


 

Time Commitment Needed
Flexible, Memorial Day through Columbus Day from approximately 11AM to 2PM on scheduled days.
