Set along the shores of a 200-acre lake, Tully Lake Campground* in Royalston offers modern conveniences and superb recreational opportunities in a beautiful natural setting. Paddle around Tully Lake or take a day trip to nearby waterfalls and scenic overlooks. Or explore miles of hiking and mountain bike trails, including the 22-mile Tully Trail. For any outdoor adventure Tully Lake is your close to home wilderness getaway!

  • Each site is unique, but they are all well spaced, and tent only
  • Borrow a Garden Cart for the short walk to your site.
  • Each site features a picnic table, and firepit with grill.
  • Firewood, fire starters, and ice sold onsite.
  • Centrally located bathhouse with flush toilets, coin operated hot showers, drinking water, dish-washing basin, and a pay phone.
  • Rangers on duty full-time during the season.
  • Kayak and Canoe Rentals available
  • Fish and boat from our launches or directly from the waterfront sites. Hours of paddling, and miles of hiking and mountain biking, right from your site!
  • Plan a weekend hiking adventure on the 22-mile Tully Trail that comes right through the camp. (download a map in the Trail Map Library).

How to Get There:
From Rte. 2, take Exit 18 and turn left onto Route 2A toward Athol. From the intersection of Routes 2A and 32 north in Athol, cross the Miller's River Bridge and bear left following the signs on Route 32 north. Proceed about 4 miles, passing the Tully Dam, then take a right onto Doane Hill Road. Proceed for a mile. The Tully Lake Campground is on the right.
