Trustees of Reservations Announce
New Admission Pricing at Crane Beach for Members-Only

Beverly, MA – June 6, 2007 – The Trustees of Reservations announced today a new pricing structure at Crane Beach that offers significant advantages to those who become members of the organization.  Membership and admission fees help to support the critical work of The Trustees, including the ongoing management, maintenance and stewardship of places like Crane Beach and other remarkable natural and cultural resources across the state.

Effective through Labor Day, member admission prices at Crane Beach have been decreased from $11.00 to $5.00 per car.  After 3:00 p.m., admission prices decrease by another 50%.  For non members, beach admission prices remain at $22 on weekends and $15 on weekdays.  For more details and information, please visit www.thetrustees.org. 

About the Trustees’ Mission & Strategic Plan
Since its founding in 1891 by Charles Eliot, an open space visionary and protégé of the famous landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead, The Trustees’ mission has been to preserve, protect and care for properties of exceptional scenic, historic and ecological value in Massachusetts.  While The Trustees’ mission remains the same, the way the organization plans to accomplish it has changed as the world has changed.
