Gardening Volunteer - The Stevens-Coolidge Place

If you love gardening, here’s a chance to get your hands dirty while helping The Trustees maintain one of the most remarkable historic gardens in the state. Gardening Volunteers will assist with spring cleanup of the Perennial Garden in April and May, and help us with prepping and planting the French Garden in May and June. From June through October, volunteers will assist with watering, weeding, and deadheading as needed in all three formal gardens of the property. During Fall, volunteers will help with winterization of gardens and fall plantings.


Location

The Stevens-Coolidge Place, North Andover


Required Skills & Abilities

Interest in gardening and caring for plants. Training and support will be provided. Must be willing to work independently and with others.


Time Commitment Needed

Approximately 4 hours (during the week Monday through Friday) April through November. More hours can be accommodated.
