Responsibilities
The Highlands Community Initiative (HCI) is a group of neighbors and volunteers working to enhance the quality of life and rural character of our communities. You can be a part of this vital effort by helping us document the landscapes and people of the Highlands. You’ll take high-resolution photographs of HCI events or general images throughout the 38-town Highlands region of western Massachusetts. Provide prints or digital files of images for HCI’s use.

Required Skills & Abilities

Ability to take and produce photographs using digital or film-based equipment. Familiarity with nature/landscape photography a plus. Should be comfortable taking photos of people and working in rural natural areas. Knowledge of the Highlands region, or the ability to read maps will be helpful. Must have access to transportation.


Time Commitment Needed
36 hours (12 times a year x 3 hours)
