Responsibilities
Combine your love of the outdoors with volunteering. Property Stewards will walk the trails of Petticoat Hill regularly, talking with visitors and keeping a log of the number of people you meet. You’ll also keep the bulletin board up-to-date and filled with brochures. In addition, you are responsible for removing trash, small branches, and other debris that fall on the trails, and reporting larger concerns to the Windsor Unit staff. The Property Stewards report to the staff on a regular basis (at least monthly). You may also be asked to attend meetings or assist with special programs on an infrequent basis.

Required Skills & Abilities

Must enjoy walking on the property, be conservation-minded, and willing to help maintain the property. 

 

Time Commitment Needed
1 hour each week, 2-4 weeks per month, year-round or seasonally
