Lyman Reserve is a multi-faceted property featuring fun recreation opportunities and the small number of structures on the property that both tell a story and provide necessary maintenance support for the eastern half of the management unit.  Since the property opening in 2004, some major renovations have taken place.  More repairs and painting of the barn and cottage is needed.  These include replacing sill and beams, scraping and painting barn trim and reshingling sidewalls.  Cottage work includes scraping and painting shutters, reglazing and painting windows, and rebuilding a section of foundation.  Other projects include restoring a picket fence and other fence projects.
