Rooms
Master Room This spacious room offers panoramic views of Mount Greylock from its furnished, wrap-around deck. The well-appointed interior features a Arne Jakobsen king-size platformbed with handmade mattress. A sleek Rataplan reclining leather sofa by Dema and two Eileen Grey tables complement the sitting area. A custom-made desk accompanied by two Knoll webchairs round out the furnishings.

North Room Located on the second floor, this quiet, intimate room invites the guest with custom-made built-ins designed by Lawrence Bloedel himself. The room is fitted with a queen-size bed and an original mid-century modern coffee table. Two Hans Wegner armchairs allow a view to the side deck, whose vista captures both the splendor of Mount Greylock and “Sandy in a Square,” an outside bronze sculpture created by Richard McDermott Miller.

Gallery Room This room originally showcased artwork from the Bloedels' private collection. Located on the main floor, guests can take in a view through wall-length windows of the Pine Cobble Mountains, clover fields, and garden sculpture. The Gallery beautifully exhibits “Sandy in a Square” by Richard McDermott Miller, along with other sculptures such as “Erma” (by Mario Negri) and “Temptation of Eve” (by Elbert Weinberg). The room is furnished with a king bed and sitting area with leather arm chairs.

South Room The upstairs South room, with a Queen size bed, has sweeping views of meadows, the pond and Mt Greylock. A separate sitting area features original armchairs by Finn Juhl/Niels Vodder and Jens Risom and a unique Danish writing desk with a “floating” top.
The mini-suite has a smaller, private bath with tub/shower.

East Room With perhaps the best view of Mount Greylock from its deck, the East Room features a king bed with headboard, night table, and three-drawer bureau designed by Lawrence Bloedel and two Hans Wegner arm chairs.

West Room Through the windows of the West Room, one may peer out and enjoy the lovely Taconic Mountain Range and the bold “Counterpoint”, a welded steel masterpiece designed by Arline Shulman. The room is furnished with a queen-size bed and features warm, sunshine-yellow walls, and an armchair designed by Swedish royalty Sigvard Bernadotte.
