Celebrate the Magic of the Season at The Great House!

Celebrate the Magic of the Season at The Great House!

Join us for a North Shore tradition, the annual Greening of the Great House event at Castle Hill on The Crane Estate.

The Great House, a 59-room mansion once summer home to Chicago plumbing magnate Richard T. Crane, Jr, offers an opulent glimpse into the Crane family’s life in the roaring 20’s.

This holiday season, local florists and designers will transform the Great House, lavishly decorating the rooms throughout with a holiday twist. Join us to enjoy the Great House in all its holiday splendor December 6-8.  Self-guided tours, live entertainment, children’s activities, a holiday Gift Gallery, and fresh-baked cookies are all part of the experience.
