Castle Hill Rates and Policies

   Great House Rental Fees
The five-hour rental* period Friday and Saturday is 5 - 10PM. 
Sunday events; client chooses the start time ending no later than 10PM.
We cannot accommodate day-time use on Friday and Saturday due to public programs and house tours at The Great House. All events must end by 10 PM; unless overtime has been purchased in advance. Overtime is available Friday – Sunday, 10 - 11PM, for $1,500 per hour. Overtime is not available after 11PM.

*When the ceremony takes place at Castle Hill, the five-hour rental begins with the ceremony contracted time. Castle Hill is not available for rehearsals prior to the day of the rental.  

Your Rental Fee Includes the Following:

• Exclusive use of the Great House event rooms and immediate surrounding grounds.
• Event Manager to supervise all staff, vendor activities, and private event staff who perform security, maintenance, beverage service, and general service functions throughout the rental period.
• Castle Hill Staff: Bartenders, set up and clean up staff.
• Dining tables and chairs for up to 200 guests, as well as 200 outdoor chairs for Great House ceremony setup.  Italian Garden ceremonies require chair rental at User's expense.
• Two private changing rooms: For the couple's use when the ceremony is held at Castle Hill.
• Gate attendant to welcome guests and direct them to parking area.
• Ample free parking.
• Parking attendant (valet service not included).
• Event Ranger to oversee security on the premises.

Tenting is required for groups of more than 200. Tenting is not included, but can be coordinated to accommodate any event for an additional fee. A grounds restoration fee will be added for all tented events. 

Deposit Schedule
First deposit due upon confirmation of date (50% of rental fee)
Second deposit due in January of event year or 6 months prior to the event date, whichever comes first (50% of rental fee)
Remaining rental and beverage balances due thirty (30) days prior to rental date.

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event of a cancellation, all deposits are retained by Castle Hill.  Please contact our Private Event Department at 978.356.4351 x8814.
