Appleton Farms Rates & Policies

Rental period:
Season: June – October | Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Five-hour use time may begin after 11AM. Friday and Saturday: all events must conclude by 10PM. Sunday: all events must conclude by 7PM. Monday – Thursday dates are not available due to farm programs.

Carriage Barn rental includes:
• (8) 60" round tables for use inside the Carriage Barn
• (80) Padded Garden Chairs for use inside the Carriage Barn
• Use of the Stone-Walled Paddock without a tent. Any additional rentals are at the user's expense. No tenting is permitted unless both the Carriage Barn and the Stone-Walled Paddock are rented.

Stone-Walled Paddock and Carriage Barn rental includes:
• Tent, side walls, dance floor, interior perimeter tent lighting. Tent heaters and other accessories are available for an additional fee.
• Exclusive use of the Carriage Barn.

All rentals include:
• Access 1 hour prior to event start time for photos and rehearsal.
• Restroom facilities and free on-site parking.
• Parking attendant (no valet service available).
• Event Ranger for security.

Please Note:
Appleton Farms is not available for rehearsals prior to the day of the rental. Our full-service caterers can assist you with additional rentals. All Paddock events require a tent, rain or shine. Rain date can be purchased in advance based on availability.

Capacities:
Carriage Barn: 80 guests
Stone-Walled Paddock: 200 guests/tented
Carriage Barn & Stone-Walled Paddock: 200 guests/tented

Deposit Schedule
• First 50% of rental fee is due upon confirmation of date.
• Second 50% of rental fee is due in January of the event year or 6 months prior to the event date, whichever comes first.
• All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable to another date. In the event of cancellation, all deposits are retained by The Crane Estate, a property of The Trustees of Reservations.
• Any additional rental fees are due 30 days prior to the rental date.

Beverage Service
Please arrange bar and beverage service through our Exclusive Caterers.  Food must be available during beverage service hours. Our full service caterers welcome the opportunity to create the perfect menu for your celebration. Please contact them directly for pricing and menu options.
