2010: Hand in Hand
Whether you live in a rural area, a burgeoning suburb, or a city, chances are that you value the things that set your community apart: the people, the history, a favorite park. Sometimes it's hard to put into words, but it's just the feel of the place that stirs your love and pride for your home, whether you've lived there for years or are a new arrival.
That strong relationship between people and place is fundamental to the health and well-being of our communities. Indeed, it's what drives The Trustees vision of a Commonwealth made up of 351 healthy, active, green communities.
It's no small undertaking, but luckily, we're not in this alone.
Working hand in hand with people like you, The Trustees are making Massachusetts a model for the nation – and a great place to call home.

2009: This place we call home.
Standing alongside the Concord River at the Old Manse, you can feel time reaching backward and arching forward. Alive with a gentle wind, this spot thrums with possibility and the lives of all who made their home here.
Home is more than a place, it's our connection to land, to people, to memories, and to the stories that tell us who we were, who we are, and who we will become. It's the sum total of all the things we care about.

2008: We are all Trustees
Last year, The Trustees launched a new strategic plan with so much enthusiasm that we have to keep telling ourselves that this is a marathon, not a sprint.
In just this first year of our ten-year journey, we opened three new reservations. And this fall, we're looking forward to cutting the ribbon at our 100th reservation, Cormier Woods in Uxbridge.

2007: Hello, Neighbor
In the past century, The Trustees have made an enormous contribution to the quality and texture life across the Commonwealth; stripped of the landscapes and landmarks we’ve preserved for the public, Massachusetts would lack much of its distinctive character and grace.
Yet in the next decade, the work we do – the work we must do–will matter even more. generation. We outline our goals and intentions in our strategic plan, available in full at www.thetrustees.org. It is ambitious – but necessarily so. And I’m optimistic about what’s possible if we come together to get it done.

2006 Campaign Final Report & Annual Report
In terms of acres protected, projects launched, dollars raised and hearts won, the unprecedented gains of the Landscapes & Landmarks Capital Campaign are a remark- able inspiration. They are also a wonderful reminder that “The Trustees” is plural for a reason: Every inch of our progress is a triumph of teamwork in the grandest sense. Through the united efforts of our staff, board members, volunteers, donors, members and friends, The Trustees have become a potent force in preserving the places, experiences and quality of life that make living in Massachusetts so special.

2005: Look Who’s Here
A grand landscape photograph can take your breath away. But frame that same view in a humble snapshot, with a familiar smile in the foreground, and you capture something equally striking: human context, memory, and meaning.

2004: The Big Picture
The Trustees of Reservations have always favored a hilltop view of the future – taking in all the challenges and opportunities before us, while keeping our eye on the horizon of what we hope to achieve.
This year, the view is spectacular. More than ever, we worked with partners across the state to bring almost two thousand acres under permanent protection. We made great progress toward the acquisition of new reservations: Eastover Farm, Moose Hill Farm, Signal Hill, and the Baker property.
