Chief, Finance & Administration
2018 – Present
Ann joined The Trustees in September 2018 and is responsible for driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence in the organization’s financial and administrative affairs. She oversees a team that includes Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Risk Management professionals and, oversight for outside counsel.
Before joining The Trustees, Ann was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the YMCA of Greater Boston where she was instrumental in growing, innovating, and modernizing the organization over a 21-year period. Her impact and leadership contributed to overall revenue growth from $20 million to $75 million and drove the organization’s expansion to more than 85 program sites serving over 100,000 members through innovative tax-exempt financing. While there she worked to institute vital risk management practices, creating a nationwide share services consortium, and delivering numerous improvements in the organization’s technology capabilities.
Earlier in her career, Ann served in a variety of financial roles in several established and start-up technology firms. She was recognized as nonprofit CFO of the year in 2011 by the Boston Business Journal.
Ann has long been active in the nonprofit and corporate community. She founded the YMCA’s Shared Services, Inc. where she served as Treasurer and is a past board member of the Mass Bay, SIG, a self-insured workers’ compensation collaboration of Massachusetts -based nonprofits. She currently serves as a member of The Boston Club and The Treasurer’s Club of Boston.
Ann holds a BS from Northeastern University and an MBA from Babson College. She is a Boston native and currently resides in Cambridge, MA.
